I am an experienced Realtor who came to Punta Gorda on a 34' Catalina Sailboat down the Mississippi and Tenn-Tom River System from Michigan in 1987. Gated Golf Communites: My Second Specialty

Although I live on the water, my "second home" is on the many beautiful Golf Courses of Punta Gorda and Charlotte County. Though I have played some golf most of my life, I really got hooked on it when we moved to Florida. I play about twice a week on a variety of semi-private courses and two Private Country Clubs which I have access to through a reciprocity plan with my Membership at the Isles Yacht Club. Charlotte County is a secret "Gem" for golfers, offering many great courses at very affordable rates. There are several Premium Gated Golf Communities with Golf Digest Rated Courses and gorgeous homes and condos with all the amenities. Memberships and/or daily greens fees are very reasonable and the courses are rarely crowded, even during peak winter season. LIFESTYLE is What I Really Sell

As a full time resident of Punta Gorda for almost twenty years, I really must say the LIFESTYLE is what it's all about. In addition to being a Full Time Realtor, I try to not let a sunny day go by without sailing my boat, playing a round of golf with my buddies, playing competitive tennis at the Isles Yacht Club, or long distance swimming at our new community Olympic style swim facility. My wife and I enjoy meeting friends at the Isles Yacht Club for dinner or Sunday brunch, where I occasionally entertain at the piano. I have moonlighted as a professional musician most of my life. In addition to an excellent dinner facility, The Yacht Club offers a fitness center, hard-tru tennis courts, billiards room, along with kayaking, biking, and full Reciprocity with 35 other members of the Florida Council of Yacht Clubs. There are ongoing power and sailboat cruises organized for members as well as a host of cultural events. Several other social and boating clubs offer similar opportunities for residents. Punta Gorda is a fantastic place to live and/or retire!
